Mannu Bhandari ((ヒンディー語:मन्नू भंडारी)) (born April 3, 1931), is a prominent Indian author, most known for her two Hindi novels, 'Aapka Banti' (आपका बंटी) and 'Mahabhoj' (महाभोज),〔(Manu Bhandari ) www.famousauthorshub.com.〕 which was later adapted to an acclaimed play and performed all over the nation, including at the National Theatre Festival (Bharat Rang Mahotsav), at New Delhi.〔(Mahabhoj ) www.dailyexcelsior.com.〕 She is a famous story writer of nai kahani. ==Biography== Mannu Bhandari was born on April 3, 1931, in Bhanpura, Madhya Pradesh, India. She attended school in Ajmer and later she graduated from Calcutta University in 1949, followed by an M.A. degree in Hindi from the Banaras Hindu University in 1953 〔(Manu Bhandari Profile ) www.abhivyakti-hindi.org.〕 (). She is wife of famous Hindi writer Rajendra Yadav, with whom she co-wrote the book, ''Ek Inch Muskaan'' (A Little Smile or literally One inch long smile).
